Saturday Night @ #RespectPodfest with The Radical Geeks, Timaree, Johnny Popcorn and DJ G33k

Saturday night at Amalgam Comics & Coffeehouse promises to close out the first day of Respect: Women’s Podcast Festival with stylish geekery and sinful flavor. Prepare for an evening of provocative podcasting and music.

THE RADICAL GEEKS bring their monthly geekfest from Brooklyn, NYC to Amalgam Comics for the first time. Hosts Angelique Roche and The Blerdgurl aka Karama Horne talk to creators from multiple fandoms about their unique commentary on racism, classism, geographical bias, LGBTQ issues as well as gender non-conformity. And how we can understand each other better. Comics, media and science fiction have always mirrored the world around us. If you question that reflection, then you are a radical geek.
